“Afghan situation worries” – Foreign Minister Jaishankar laments

Foreign Minister Jaishankar has expressed concern over the situation in Afghanistan.

Foreign Ministers from 5 Central Asian countries are attending the third conference on the Afghan issue in Delhi. Accordingly, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar inaugurated the conference with the participation of Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Speaking later, he lamented the need to find ways to help the Afghan people. He said he had a deep relationship with Afghanistan and stressed the need to ensure that the rights of women, children and minorities in Afghanistan are protected.
