African nationals arrested for robbery in industrial area

Doha: Two African nationals have been arrested for robbing shops in the Doha industrial area. The suspects were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Home Ministry. Theft items were also seized from the accused. The suspects were nabbed by a special team on the basis of reports that theft was rampant in various shops in the industrial area. The accused were handed over to the Judicial Authority for further legal action.

Authorities have called on shop owners to install security surveillance cameras in their shops. Make sure the shop doors and windows are properly locked. Authorities also reminded that all security measures should be followed to prevent such thefts.
