The Magistrate’s Court in Kfar Saba today (Tuesday) ordered Yair Netanyahu to pay NIS 2,000 in legal fees. His lawyer, Adv. Yossi Cohen, announced at the beginning of the hearing that the son of the opposition chairman was ill and could not attend the hearing.
As you may recall, last year Netanyahu was sued by political activist Dana Kashdi for half a million shekels.
Netanyahu’s defense was filed in June this year, about three months after the court had already ruled that he must pay half a million shekels to Kashdi, because he did not submit it on time and as required. Now, as stated, the court ordered Netanyahu to pay another NIS 2,000 for legal expenses.
