AGM and EGM of Rupali Bank postponed again

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Special General Meeting (EGM) of Rupali Bank Plc, a listed company in the banking sector in the capital market, has again been postponed.

On Wednesday (August 7), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) informed this information.

According to sources, the AGM and EGM of the bank were scheduled to be held on Wednesday. However, due to unavoidable reasons, the bank’s AGM and EGM were again postponed. Rupali Bank has postponed and changed the date several times. Besides, the company said that the new date of AGM and EGM will be announced later.

It is known that Rupali Bank PLC announced the date of AGM and EGM on July 30. Then it was decided to go ahead and do it on July 23. But due to unavoidable reasons it was postponed. Later, Rupali Bank announced the new date of AGM and EGM on August 1. As per the new date it is scheduled to be held on August 5. But due to public holidays it got delayed again.

Meanwhile, the bank announced the new date of AGM and EGM again on Tuesday (August 6) at DSE. As per the new schedule, the announced activities of the bank were to be held today. But the bank authorities again suspended the AGM and EGM without mentioning any specific reason.
