Agreement promotes the teaching and development of LEGALTECH
Access to digital justice is a challenge for professionals who are in step with the current reality and who seek to innovate with information technologies in the legal field. In this sense, the Indoamérica University signed an agreement with the Legal Code organization, whose objective is to generate the design, development of products and services of legal technology and information technology, legal tech or law tech that contribute to the knowledge of the students of the career of Right. With this agreement, knowledge and research related to technology and law will be deepened. The two institutions agree to organize and carry out training, academic, social engagement and research activities in the indicated field, as well as to ensure that students participate in pre-professional internship programs, following the guidelines, regulations and instructions of both parts. The authorities expressed their approval of the signed document that implies mutual collaboration with the education of future lawyers in our country and agrees with one of the purposes of the Faculty of Jurisprudence, Political and Economic Sciences that advances towards a stage of digital access of justice where the citizen can satisfy his needs even remotely.
Indo-America Expofest: a quality academic sample
At the ExpoFest Indoamérica, they learned first-hand about all the benefits offered by the degrees offered by the faculties of: Administrative and Economic Sciences; Architecture, Arts and Design; Environmental Sciences; Engineering and Information and Communication Technologies; Jurisprudence, Political and Economic Sciences; Human and Health Sciences; Health Sciences; and Human Sciences, Education and Social Development. In addition, the students visited the Graduate and Language departments, and the research, innovation and development clubs; They toured the Institution’s modern facilities; and they lived with the community and Ambateño soccer celebrities (Técnico Universitario and Macará); They participated in games and raffles, in which two fans won autographed jerseys from their favorite teams. Juan Carlos Chiriboga, Zonal Education Analyst, expressed the importance of providing these spaces to students: “Providing them with the broadest information about higher education, what they can do in their future and its benefits, makes it possible for them to continue their life projects. , something essential for their comprehensive development as people and professionals,” he explained. Julio Hurtado, Vice Rector of the EU November 12 of Píllaro, commented that his students were captivated by the exhibitions at each ExpoFest stand. For his part, Cristian Chango, a Business Administration student, indicated that the postgraduate educational network will expand his knowledge. “I like the different modalities and the disposition of the teachers in the master’s degrees; I could study and work at the same time,” he added. The event was a space where teachers and students of the University explained in a playful, interactive and original way what each of their careers entails, demonstrating what the institutional mission indicates, that is, the training of ethical, entrepreneurial, competent professionals. , socially and environmentally responsible, through quality education that contributes to science, innovation, technology, culture and sustainable development.
