Agri-Food Technology Forum Launched at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore Promotes Innovation in Agriculture Industry

An Agri-Food Technology Forum has been started at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.

TN is a start-up operating under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of the Government of Tamil Nadu. This forum has been launched as part of the initiative to encourage companies, industries and innovative companies. N. Senthil, Director of Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Center of the University, inaugurated the forum.

Sivaraja Ramanathan, Project Director of the Institute of Industry and Innovation, government officials, entrepreneurs and agriculture department participated in the opening ceremony. It has been informed that the mentors, researchers, industry experts, industry experts and industry archives will provide the necessary assistance to the new entrepreneurs involved in agriculture and food industry. Following this, scientist V. Pashupati, Selvamurali, Arulmurugan, Vasanthan Selvan and others participated in the expert discussion.

Earlier, an MoU was signed with Periyakulam Hardy Business Incubation Center for providing business incubation facilities to start-ups. Following this, a robot named ‘MyaBots’ designed by Maya Greens Choices was introduced to perform multifaceted tasks in agriculture. Start Up T.N. Associate Vice President S. Dinesh, Chief Executive Officer of Technology Business Archive Gnanasambandam and others participated in the program.
