Kim Do-eup, who was considered a strong opponent, announced his intention not to run on the 28th. In a situation where the possibility of Rep. Lee’s ‘run alone’ is increasing, Rep. Ahn Cheol-soo is trying to keep Rep. Lee in check, saying, “The leadership that commanded this general election must take responsibility for the election results and retreat to a second term.” am.
Representative Ahn said in a phone call that day, “In the party, those who led the general election should step down for a second term, and the government should also undergo a major cabinet reshuffle to replace those who did not perform well with competent and clean people.” Rep. The People Power Party will announce the schedule for the floor leader election on the 30th and accept candidate registration on the 1st of next month. Election campaigns can be held from immediately after registration until the 2nd of the following month, and on the 3rd, the People Power Party’s elected representative elects the person who receives the majority through secret ballot as the new floor leader. If you run as a sole candidate, you will be selected as the new floor leader without a vote.
