O. Panneerselvam and AIADMK general committee member Vairamuthu filed a case in the Chennai High Court seeking a ban on the AIADMK general committee meeting held on July 11 in Chennai. Judge Jayachandran, who heard the case, ruled that the general body meeting held on July 11 was invalid and the AIADMK should continue as it was before June 23.
In this situation, O. Panneerselvam, who met the media, called upon Edappadi Palaniswami, Sasikala, Dhinakaran and others to forget what happened and unite for the progress of the party. But Edappadi Palaniswami, who refused to accept O. Panneerselvam’s invitation, made various allegations against OPS.

He also appealed against the judgment of the single judge before a two-judge bench. At the same time, a caveat petition has been filed by O.
