Air Canada Suspended 800 Workers for Refusing to Get Vaccinated

Canada’s largest airline Air Canada has suspended over 800 employees who refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

The carrier reported that 27 thousand pilots, flight attendants and personnel working on the ground were vaccinated. And those who did not want to do so were sent on unpaid leave.

Earlier in Canada, began to tighten coronavirus restrictions. Those who have not been vaccinated can no longer travel around the country by air and rail. This decision concerns federal employees and employees of shipping companies, TASS reports.
