Hundreds of people in the streets to avoid layoffs and to save the company

Ansa / CorriereTv

After the confirmations of recent days, the protest of the workers of the airline Air Italy was staged in Piazza Montecitorio. The demonstration was called by Cgil, Cisl, Uil and Ugl and also found the support of the USB. An opportunity to claim the rights of workers and to bring forward a dispute useful to prevent the dismissal of thousands of people. In the balance there are a total of 1,450 jobs which, as the demonstrators and the unions explain, can only be saved through a table with the Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti. A necessary confrontation through which to request once again the continuation of the layoffs and to prevent the disappearance of a historic company in the panorama of Italian air transport.
