New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed the Center to convene an emergency meeting of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab today to discuss air pollution in Delhi. The bench, headed by Chief Justice N.V.

Criticizing the Delhi government, the court opined that all work was being placed on the shoulders of the local bodies. He said the government would be forced to conduct an audit of how much it spends on advertising. The Delhi government has said it is ready to take action and extend control to neighboring states.
