Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s ‘Lal Salaam’ Movie Controversy and Trailer Release Event Explanation

Aishwarya Rajinikanth directed movie ‘Lal Salaam’. Vikrant and Vishnu Vishal are playing the lead roles in this film based on cricket. Also, the film features actor Rajinikanth and former cricketer Kapil Dev in a special appearance.

AR Raghuman has composed the music for this film produced by Lyca. Cinematography by Vishnu Rangaswamy. The movie ‘Lal Salaam’ is going to release on 9th. Recently the teaser and songs of this film were released and it got attention among the fans.

The music launch of the film was recently held at Tambaram. Rajinikanth, Vikrant, Vishnu Vishal, music director AR Raghuman, directors Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nelson, producer Thanu and many others attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Aishwarya Rajinikanth said, ‘The word I hear most recently about my father is chunky. I was very angry when I was told this word. I must tell you this, my father is not Chunky, he is Superstar Rajinikanth. If he was chunky, he would not have acted in ‘Lal Salaam’. His speech caused controversy on social media.

In this case, the trailer release ceremony of this film was held in Chennai today. Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who spoke at the event, explained the controversies. He said, ‘If the film Lal Salaam talks about politics, yes this film talks about people-oriented politics. Without politics there is no one and nothing. It changes depending on our perspective.

I had no idea what I would be talking about at the music launch. Some people questioned my father at the airport whether what I said was for the promotion of the film. I would like to explain it a little. There is no need to run a superstar film through me or through multiple promotional campaigns. There is no need for the film to run that way.

Jailer is a film that does not talk about any kind of politics. As you all know it was a hit. Dad is someone who encourages me and my sister to have our own opinions. It was difficult to raise such a question to him’, he said.
