The memorandum is signed. Akba Bank will support the implementation of the “Yerevan Wine Days” festival and will be the main sponsor of the festival in this and the next two years. The development of agriculture, winemaking and tourism sectors is of strategic importance for the bank.
“Wine Days” brings together true wine lovers. The festival, which has become an annual event on Saryan Street, features a large display of Armenian wines, wine companies and local dishes. The festival brings thousands of visitors and gastronomic tourists to Yerevan.
In this and following years, the festival will be held in the last days of the first week of June.
“Akba Bank has been positioned as a supporter of agriculture since its establishment. “Yerevan Wine Days” festival is an interesting program for us, because we deal with tourists coming to Armenia, with people who want to be part of the holiday, and it’s nice that there is such an opportunity. The development of event tourism can make Armenia one of the main tourist destinations in the world.
