The Baghdad Municipality announced, today, Friday, the entry of about 200 trucks and vehicles into the Al-Bataween area to implement its service campaign there, while revealing the volume of violations, rubble, and waste raised.
The Director General of Relations and Media in the Municipality, Muhammad Al-Rubaie, told the (INA): “The Municipality is currently implementing a comprehensive service campaign in the Al-Bataween area, as its staff and municipal departments entered the area to support the Rusafa Municipality.”
He added, “The secretariat brought 77 trucks to the area of 101 in Al-Bataween to remove the rubble, and 650 tons were lifted within 3 days with 30 dumpers.”
He continued, “66 garbage compactors entered and lifted about 180 tons, and 56 load trucks also entered and lifted 86 tons.”
Regarding the violations, he explained that “98 violations were removed, in addition to 115 visual distortions from cables, sheds, and abandoned iron.”
