Al-Budair women win silver in the Arab Games »

The Al Badir Club women’s team won the silver medal in the shooting event, within the competitions of the Seventh Arab League for Arab Clubs, whose activities continue in the Emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, with the participation of twenty-five clubs.

A member of the Executive Office of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, head of the Equality Committee, Bidda Gilan, said in a statement received by the (INA) that “the women of the Al-Budair Club won second place and the silver medal in the 10-meter air pistol event competition for the teams, while the player, Nour Al-Zahraa, came in second place.” Muhammad ranked fourth in the individual air pistol event.”
Gilan added, “The results of our other clubs in the rest of the events did not meet the ambition, as we hoped that Iraq would achieve a number of colorful medals in Arab competitions.”
Iraq is participating in the tournament’s competitions with seven clubs specializing in women’s games: Acad Club, Ain Kawa for volleyball, Gaz Al-Shamal for basketball, Al-Budair Club for shooting, Basra Municipality for fencing, the Peshmerga Club for karate, Nineveh Girl for athletics, and Gaz Al-Janoub for table tennis.
