The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, received the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, on the sidelines of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
“During the meeting, the two sides discussed developments in the political and economic situation in Libya and the region in general, and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields.”
Al-Dabaiba also received “Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, and the two sides discussed the latest regional developments, especially the situation in Gaza and Sudan, and ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields.”
Al-Dabaiba stressed “the importance of relations with the State of Qatar, noting the endeavor to open new horizons for bilateral cooperation, which contributes to achieving development and peace in Libya.”
In turn, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman affirmed “Qatar’s firm support for Libya, and its readiness to enhance economic and security cooperation to support stability in the region.”
Yesterday, the work of the second session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan began in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the participation of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, and his accompanying delegation.
In his speech, Al-Dabaiba stressed “the importance of cooperation between Islamic countries in a number of important fields, praising the role of these forums in bringing viewpoints closer and identifying aspects of cooperation between Arab countries and their Asian surroundings,” according to what the government media office stated.
Al-Dabaiba also renewed his “condemnation of what is happening in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to immediately stop the war and bring in humanitarian aid.”
Yesterday, Al-Dabaiba received, “during this participation, the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Walid Al-Khereiji, his accompanying delegation, and the Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, Muhammad Mustafa.”
