Doha: Al Waqra and Al Farkhia beaches are closed for 2 months for renovation and beautification works. The beauty and comfort of the beaches are added to welcome the visitors coming for the FIFA World Cup. No access to the beach till 31st October.
The renovation and beautification work is being done under the leadership of the Supervisory Committee for Beautification of Roads and Public Places of the Public Works Authority. Qatar expects more than 15 lakh fans for the FIFA World Cup in November and December.
