Al-Zawraa team achieved an important victory over its counterpart Al-Karkh by three clean goals in the match that took place between them, today, Friday, at the magician Ahmed Radhi Stadium for the 24th week of the Iraqi Stars League.
The (INA) correspondent stated, “The first goal for Al-Zawraa came from player Christopher John in the first half of the match, while striker Alaa Abbas added two goals for Al-Zawraa with two headers, so that the match ended with Al-Zawraa’s victory,” noting, “With this victory, Al-Zawraa advanced.” Al-Zawraa is in third place with (43) points.
He added, “The Duhok team achieved victory over its host Al-Qassim by three goals to one,” explaining, “The Al-Qassim team took the lead through its player Jabbar Karim in the 22nd minute before the player Yannick Ramos scored the equalizer in the 40th minute.” His colleague Pierre added Abu Bakr scored the second goal in the 42nd minute, and Dohuk added the third goal in the second half.”
