Alan Wake 2 It is already a success for Remedywho confirmed that the sequel sold 1.3 million copies, becoming the company’s fastest-selling title. That is why, thanks to the good reviews and the reception from fans, the studio will continue betting on the IP.
The game was one of the great surprises of 2023 taking into account that it was the continuation of a title of 2010 which, although it gained a cult of gamers, had fallen below commercial expectations (at that time from Microsoft, who published the first Alan Wake as an exclusive to Xbox 360and then make the jump to PC).
Returning to Alan Wake 2, Remedy reconfirmed that two expansions are on the way. «Night Springs» will premiere in spring 2024while the second, «The Lakehouse«, still has a pending launch window.
