Alappuzha: CPM expelled AP Sona, who is facing allegations of spreading nude videos including that of his colleague. Sona is a member of Alappuzha South Area Committee. The action is based on the report of the two-member inquiry commission. Today, the district secretariat met. That was the decision.
The controversy started two months ago. A woman had complained against him in the party that he had tried to enter AP Sona’s house. Along with that complaint, the woman had also submitted the videos on AP Sona’s phone. He kept 34 videos of 17 women including Sona’s colleague on his phone. While making a video call, the women were recording it and keeping it on their phone without their knowledge. But no action was taken.
Some leaders were also accused of protecting Sona. Meanwhile, action was taken by appointing the Commission of Inquiry.
