Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu leaves Clermont for Rennes, but the Auvergne club recovers young Jérémy Jacquet on loan in exchange.

Ghanaian international defender from Clermont Alidu Seidu has signed with Stade Rennais until 2028, the Breton club announced Monday evening.

Aged 23, Seidu, a central defender who trained at the Jean-Marc Guillou Academy, was under contract since 2019 with the Auvergne club. He has just participated in the African Cup of Nations with Ghana, eliminated in the group stage.
