He Fantastic Film Festival of the Canary Islands City of La Laguna Isla Calavera offers on April 28 at Multicines Tenerife, its screening headquarters, the masterpiece of Ridley Scott Alien, the eighth passengeran iconic and fundamental film of fantastic cinema since its premiere in 1979. Within the framework of this first Isla Calavera pre-festival event, a discussion about the film will take place after the screening and some brushstrokes of the programming planned for its seventh edition will be announced. , which will be held from November 10 to 19 and commemorate the 90th anniversary of King Kong.
This projection will put the finishing touch to the film cycle of the month of April of the Cinema Classroom of the University of La Laguna, which will be dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and begins this Wednesday, April 5 with the projection of the classic mechanical spawn (1977), directed by Donald Cammell and starring Julie Christie y Fritz Weaver. Alien, the eighth passenger has a link with the Isla Calavera Festival through some of the winners of different editions.
