The Almberg Irfersdorf shooting club hosted its traditional final shooting event shortly before Christmas, showcasing impressive performances across all age groups in four distinct finals.
The competition began with the laser rifle final, where Marie Kracun secured first place with a score of 88.0 rings, edging out Johannes Wierl (85.2 rings) and Emma Kretschmeier (80.4 rings).
In the student final, Michelle Kracun demonstrated remarkable accuracy, winning with an excellent 93.4 points. Jonah Branner claimed second place with 90.0 points, followed by Leni Pöppel (85.9 points).

Between the student and shooting class finals, the club honored participants in the club championship, which had been postponed from November. The awarding of the youth target added to the excitement. Participants aimed for a divisional score of 1,426 divisions—a target value kept secret until the very end, adding an element of chance. Ferdinand Seitz ultimately prevailed with 1,494.1 points. Henry Blisse (1,025.1 points) and Marko Kracun (987.7 points) rounded out the top three. The competition highlighted that shooting sports demand precision—and a little bit of luck.
At this year’s laser shooting competition, eleven participants vied for the title of laser king, completing all shots hands-free—a significant challenge for the young athletes. Jakob Rothmer successfully defended his title with a score of 9.1 rings. Luca Kipke and Marie Kracun followed closely behind, securing second and third place with 8.5 and 8.2 rings, respectively.
Pistol and Rifle Finals Showcase Top Talent
As the afternoon progressed, the pistol final saw Martin Biedermann dominate the competition with a score of 96.1 points. Reinhard Merkl finished second with 91.7 points, closely followed by Florian Sippl at 91.5 points.
The final event, the air rifle final, was won by Lisa Pöppel, who achieved an excellent score of 99.1 rings. Karin Pöppel took second place with 98.4 rings, and Andreas Haunschild secured third with 98.1 rings.
Recognizing Championship Achievements
Alexandra Bayerlein was recognized for her strong results at the Bavarian and German championships, receiving a special presentation at the event’s conclusion.
The event underscored the high level of skill and competitive spirit within the club. The final shooting concluded with shared refreshments and a sense of accomplishment among all participants.
