The country’s biggest Alpana festival ‘Alpanay Boishakh 1431’ was organized in three places of the country including Dhaka. This Alpana festival has been organized in three places of the country in the joint initiative of Asiatic Experiential Marketing Limited, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited and Banglalink Digital Communications Limited.
It first started last April 12 in Mithamain of Kishoreganj. Artists are painting the 14 km road from Mithamain zero point to Ashtagram zero point with Alpana, through which the initiative is being taken to set the record for the world’s longest Alpana. Then, on April 13, the festival started simultaneously at Shiv Bari Mor in Khulna and Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka.
Today Pahela Baishakh (April 14) State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak, MP and Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer of Banglalink Digital Communications Limited Taimur Rahman visited Alpana drawing program of Mithamain area.
The Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad was present as the chief guest in the organization of ‘Alpanay Baishakh 1431’ in Dhaka. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury.
State Minister for Culture Nahid Izahar Khan, Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam, Asiatic Three-Sixty Chairman Asaduzzaman Noor, Group Managing Director Eresh Zaker, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited Managing Director (MD) Rupali Chowdhury, Chief Operating Officer were also present on the occasion. From 2012 to 2019, Asiatic Experiential Marketing Limited has been organizing ‘Alpanay Baishakh’ titled ‘Alpanay Baishakh’ in various parts of the country including Manik Mia Avenue in organizing Pahela Baishakh, the festival of Bengali life. It has not been held for the past few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, ‘Alpanay Boishakh-1431’ was successfully organized for the eighth time this year.
