Nepalhilfe supports the school for the poor in Jhamsikhel

Aham – pm (11/12/2020) With the annual Advent market on Lerchenhofplatz in Aham, Nepalhilfe Aham had a good opportunity to draw attention to the work of Nepalhilfe and its projects in Nepal. Thanks to the Advent market, the tireless efforts of many volunteers and the help of generous donations in kind and money, all projects in Nepal were able to be sustainably secured.

For example, lunch for the poor school in Jhamsikhel (elementary school for 160 children from the poorest population in Kathmandu) was financed for six months.

Unfortunately, due to the corona pandemic, Nepalhilfe Aham cannot and is not allowed to hold the wonderful Advent market with a popular tombola this year. Nepalhilfe Aham would have loved to once again spoil the numerous visitors with special delicacies, fine drinks and create an atmospheric ambience with interesting exhibitors from the district. The net proceeds from the Advent market and the tombola are used by Nepalhilfe Aham to actively help the people in Nepal.

The current situation is certainly very unpleasant and stressful for everyone, but unfortunately this also creates a big gap for Nepalhilfe Aham in achieving its goals, such as the sustainable support of Nepal’s poor schools. Together, Nepalhilfe wants to create and sustainably secure a better future in one of the poorest developing countries in the world.

Only through membership fees and numerous donations can we continue to support the projects, the people and the children in Nepal.
