The reuniting suitors eloped after arriving at the alumni reunion. A 50-year-old Idukki native of Karimannur and a native of Muvattupuzha ran away from their families during the gathering of 1987 batch 10th class students held in Ernakulam Muvattupuzha.
They meet after 35 years. After three weeks of consultation, the housewife left her children and husband and went with her boyfriend. He is a native of Muvatupuzha and has a wife and children. Their families have lodged a complaint with the police.
The husband filed a complaint with the Karimannur police that his wife was missing and the lover’s wife filed a complaint with the Muvatupuzha police. Meanwhile, the police investigation conducted with the help of cyber cell found that the two had traveled through Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad and Velankanni. A case was registered at the police station and investigation started.
