AMAD Hosts 33rd African Congress of Sports Medicine in Rabat
Casablanca – The Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency (AMAD) is hosting the 33rd African Congress of Sports Medicine on September 21 and 22 at the Center for National Training and Meetings in Rabat. The congress will focus on the theme “Doping at the Heart of Sports Medicine.”
This African congress, taking place in Morocco for the first time, is being organized in collaboration with the African Union of Sports Medicine, AMAD announced in a press release.
During the conclave, scientists, sports medicine specialists, doctors, and anti-doping experts will lead several sessions on doping, sports medicine, and other topics related to the theme.
Created in January 2021 in accordance with Law 97-12, the Moroccan Anti-Doping Agency is an independent institution with financial autonomy responsible for implementing the national policy in the fight against doping.
