Amazon launched a new GLP-1 weight-loss program on April 21, 2026, through its Amazon One Medical primary care network, integrating medication access with routine doctor visits and same-day pharmacy delivery.
The program, called the comprehensive GLP-1 Management Program, embeds obesity treatment into standard primary care, allowing clinicians to monitor how weight loss affects cardiovascular health, metabolic conditions, and overall well-being. Patients receive pre-visit screenings, structured consultations, regular follow-ups with integrated monitoring, and evidence-based treatment algorithms with built-in safety protocols.
Through Amazon Pharmacy, patients can access both injectable and oral GLP-1 medications, including Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy and Eli Lilly’s Zepbound, as well as newer oral options. Prescriptions are fulfilled with transparent pricing and convenient delivery options, including same-day service.
For insured patients, monthly costs start as low as $25. Uninsured patients pay at least $149 per month for oral medications and $299 per month for injectables. Amazon said these prices are roughly in line with the current market.
Amazon also introduced on-demand prescription renewals, starting at $29 for a message consultation and $49 for video care. The company emphasized that fast, convenient access and clear pricing are central to transforming the pharmacy experience.

GLP-1 drugs work by mimicking a naturally occurring hormone that regulates metabolism. After eating, they increase insulin production, limit sugar release into the bloodstream, slow digestion, and signal fullness to the brain, often leading to reduced appetite and weight loss over time.
