The United States Sending Additional Military Aid to Ukraine
The United States is providing another $125 million in military aid to Ukraine, the White House announced on Friday. This latest package includes Stinger missiles, artillery shells, and anti-tank missiles.
The announcement came during a press conference in Washington, where John Kirby, the national security communications adviser, addressed questions regarding ongoing discussions between American and Ukrainian officials. When asked directly about the use of American weaponry in the Ukrainian operation, Kirby declined to provide a direct response but clarified that the conversation centered around this very issue.
Kirby emphasized that the United States stands by its previous commitment to limit the deployment of Ukrainian forces equipped with American weaponry to areas bordering Russia, should the need arise for self-defense.
