“20 million doses of Coronavirus vaccines from June abroad” the promise of US President Joe Biden in the knowledge that “America will never be safe until the rest of the world is vaccinated”.

The drugs that will be donated, as part of the Covax solidarity project, are those of Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, all approved by the American FDA. In addition, the White House has pledged to give another 60 million Astra Zeneca, as soon as the drug is approved by the US regulatory body.

Vaccinations have reached nearly 280 million people with the first dose, 120 million are fully immunized on 350 million vaccine distributed in the country. And for the first time since the start of the pandemic, cases have declined in all 50 states.

And this is how Biden’s new goal seems to be successful, that is to decree the 4th of July, Independence Day as a “day of liberation from the virus”.

Faced with this positive trend, the Democrat now wants to concentrate greater efforts on helping those countries that are still in full epidemic such as Brazil and India.

The man in charge of this mission is Jeff Zients, coordinator of the Coronavirus project at the White House.

Zients along with Gayle Smith of the State Department will coordinate with the National Security Council.

For some time now, many international organizations have been putting pressure on Washington to start this solidarity operation towards the countries most affected and most discovered from the point of view of vaccines.

Finally the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) have authorized and completely vaccinated people to be able to stay without a mask both outdoors and indoors without having to respect the safety distance and even in the midst of gatherings.

But this result was achieved with a great unanimous effort from all over the country, from the Administration, to the states, to private companies and non-profit companies that have made every effort to vaccinate. In less than four months, the country has managed to go from 5.5% of adults vaccinated with at least one dose to around 60%.
