Several other Olympians are also on the roster, including American star Yul Moldauer, Spain’s Nicolau Mir, Joel Plata, and Alba Petisco, and Brazilian Diogo Soares.
Team USA will use the event to showcase several up-and-coming athletes that could be ones to watch as they prepare for a home Games in LA, with junior world medallists Danila Leykin and Charleigh Bullock expected to compete.
The format of the event features three rounds of competition with two men and two women from each of the eight countries participating in the opening rotation. From there, teams will be eliminated until the last four standing battle for the medals in round three.
