Amir suggested air bridge flights from Qatar to Turkey

Doha: In order to help Turkey cope with the disaster in which many people died in the earthquake, Qatar has allowed air bridge flights as per the directive of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. An airbridge is a system that allows people to travel freely and directly between two countries.

The first flights of the air bridge will be accompanied by a team from the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Forces (Laqwiya) with special systems for search and rescue operations. A field hospital, relief aid, tents and winter supplies will also be provided.
