President Andres Manuel Lopez Obradorhis spokesman Jesús Ramírez, and various federal government officials, challenged the ruling of the Specialized Regional Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF), which determined the improper use of public resources to call for a vote on “Plan C ”.

It was yesterday, Friday July 14, that the Superior Chamber of the Court received seven appeals against the sentence SRE-PSC-83/2023, issued by the Specialized Chamber on July 6, where it was ordered to register AMLO and official in the Catalog of Sanctioned Subjects.

Likewise, by the officials Sigfrido Barjau de la Rosa, director of the Center for the Production of Informative and Special Programs (CEPROPIE); Pedro Daniel Ramírez Pérez, head of department attached to the General Coordination of Social Communication and Spokesperson of the government of the Republic; Jesús Ramírez Cuevas, General Coordinator of Social Communication and Spokesperson of the Government of the Republic, and Jenaro Villamil, president of the Public Broadcasting System of the Mexican State.

All the files were turned over to the presentation of the magistrate Indalfer Infante González, who will carry out the analysis and resolution of the facts.

The complaint was made by Kenia López Rabadán (PAN) and Jorge Álvarez Máynez (MC), who were agreed by the Special Chamber, for the alleged intervention of Obrador in the local electoral processes in Coahuila and the State of Mexico.
