Title: DMK Accused of Deceiving People with Signature Movement to Cancel NEET Exam

Chennai: The recent signature movement initiated by the DMK government to cancel the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination has been met with skepticism by the people of Tamil Nadu, who feel deceived by the party’s false promises. DTV Dinakaran, the General Secretary of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, accused the DMK of using the signature drive as a diversion tactic to distract from their incompetence in handling the NEET issue.

Dinakaran stated that Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who played different roles before and after the election, had resorted to the signature movement to divert attention from the DMK government’s failure to effectively address the NEET problem. He reminded the public that the DMK, as a part of the Congress alliance, could have prevented the NEET exam in 2010 but remained silent, leading to the current medical dreams of poor students becoming unattainable.

Furthermore, Dinakaran questioned the whereabouts of the NEET Bill, which was passed in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for the second time and sent to the President. The DMK government has failed to provide an explanation regarding the status of the bill, raising concerns about their commitment to resolving the NEET issue. Dinakaran also highlighted Chief Minister Stalin’s lack of action in pressuring the central government, despite his previous claims during his tenure as the leader of the opposition party.

Accusing the DMK government of keeping students in confusion by not providing proper training and failing to cancel the NEET examination, Dinakaran called for the people of Tamil Nadu to boycott the party. He urged Chief Minister Stalin to focus on obtaining approval for the NEET Exemption Bill submitted to the President, instead of engaging in deceptive tactics.

As the people become increasingly aware of the DMK’s alleged deception, their trust in the party appears to be waning. The call for action against the NEET examination has intensified, prompting demands for concrete solutions from the Tamil Nadu government. It remains to be seen how the DMK will address the concerns raised by Dinakaran and the disillusioned citizens of Tamil Nadu.
