Rattanjay Raja, an 8-year-old boy from Rajapalayam, has set a “Noble World Record” by punching a boxing board more than 8,000 times while walking backwards for 5 km. It is noteworthy that today the boy broke another record which he had already achieved last month.

A martial arts practitioner from Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar district To Ayyappan, Ratanjay Raja, an 8-year-old boy, is undergoing self-defense training. The boy had earlier set the Asia Book of Records record by punching a boxing board 4,163 times and walking 2.7 km backwards.

The boy who Rattanjairaja had attempted to break his own record in Nobel is participating in the 5km back-and-forth event while punching the same boxing board. Then, when he was about 1km backtracked by rain, he persisted and broke his previous record of 5km backtracking in 1.04 hours. Nobel World Record judges announced on the podium that 8,130 punches were punched on the boxing board in one hour.

Madurai District SP Sivaprasad felicitated the boy with Asia Book of Records and Nobel World Achievement certificates and medal for today’s achievement.
