French astronaut Thom Pesce of the European Space Agency, who is currently the commander of the ISS, became the first person to hear a single from the rock band Rammstein from the new album.
The band’s drummer Chris Schneider announced this on his Instagram. According to the musician, he fulfilled his childhood dream by talking to a man who is in space: “Once again I realized how small we are all in comparison with the Universe.”
He added that what happened is a huge honor not only for him, but for the entire Rammstein group. In this regard, he expressed gratitude to NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) for the implementation of this idea.
