Namakkal: “Public works department, anti-bribery department and revenue department conducted an investigation in my house, office and factory to bring bad name to me among the public,” said former AIADMK minister P. Thangamani.

Officials of Public Works Department and Revenue Department conducted a surprise inspection at Thangamani house, office and dye factory in Govindampalayam on Wednesday to check whether the documents seized were correct.

Following this, Minister Thangamani told the press: “Public works department, anti-corruption department and revenue department also came today to measure and evaluate the building built almost 70 years ago based on the anti-graft police inspection on 15th December last year. In the morning they conducted a survey at our home, office and factory.
As for that factory, it was built before I was born. But the government has deliberately taken this step to bring me into disrepute among the public. I will face this according to law,” he said
When asked about the warrant issued by the court to open the AIADMK head office, he said, “Gamble the life of dharma. Again, dharma will win.” “Wherever there is justice, it will prevail,” Thangamani said, “Let it go anywhere, wherever justice prevails.”
