An Austrian tourist killed in Sinai by a shark attack

Within 24 hours: Two tourists were killed in a shark attack in the Sinai Peninsula when the attacks took place only about 600 meters away on the “hashish” beach. Today (Sunday) a 68-year-old tourist from Austria was killed on a tourist island from Romania.

In Egypt it was reported that the Austrian tourist had managed to fight the shark and reach the shore. When she was taken out of the water the tourist was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead apparently from a heart attack. The Egyptian Ministry of the Environment announced the closure of the beach for bathing and appointed an investigation team to investigate the circumstances of the incidents.
