As part of the “Urbanda görüşərik” project, a literary and musical evening dedicated to the work of the great Azerbaijani classic, poet and philosopher of the 16th century Muhammad Fizuli was held at the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov, the press service told Day.Az Philharmonic. The event was timed to coincide with the 530th anniversary of Muhammad Fizuli, who played an exceptional role in the development of Azerbaijani literary and artistic thought.
At the evening, the poet’s works were recited by Imamverdi Veliyev, Gulnara Sadig, Zahira Badalova, Vusalya Hijran and Zulfiya Yagub, songs based on Fuzuli’s words were performed by Gaya Nasibzade.
The host of the evening was Khuraman Agayeva.
On May 5, the event of the “Urbanda görüşərik” project will be dedicated to the work of public figure, educator, poet and writer Ahmed Javad (1892-1937).
The author of the project “Urbanda görüşərik” is the director of the Philharmonic, Honored Artist Ramil Gasimov. The goal of the project is to create a platform for talented and creative people, ensure their advancement and unlock their potential, and create conditions for fruitful activity. Writers, poets, artists, sculptors, masters of applied arts, and other creative personalities take part in the project.
