The International Federation of Beach Volleyball (Football) agreed to hold the international championship for professionals in Baghdad on May 18, 2024, with the participation of European, American, and Asian countries.
The head of the Iraqi Beach Volleyball Federation, Karrar Ali Saber, told the (INA) that “the International Federation agreed to hold the World Professional Beach Volleyball Championship in Baghdad in the middle of the fifth month of this year.”
He added, “The Federation has begun preparations for this major global event and is working with all professionalism in order to appear in a manner befitting the name of Iraq. All efforts are being combined for the success of this important tournament, especially since Iraq today is able to host world championships and various sports.”
