The presenter has requested voluntary early retirement that the state company allows her once she turns 63 on November 5. After that date, the Bilbao communicator will leave the small screen and the city of Madrid to move to Cantabria, where she recently acquired a villa, according to the portal ‘El cierre digital’.
Blanco leaves television with the discretion that has always characterized him. A year ago, the presenter surprised with the communication that she was withdrawing from the presentation of TVE’s ‘Telediarios’. The last time she stepped on the news set was July 15, 2022 before starting her summer vacation. She did not publicly say goodbye to the audience, but she had already agreed with the management of the public channel to withdraw her from the frenetic daily rhythm of information. Paloma del Río also says goodbye to TVE
The voice of minority sports on TVE will also say goodbye to viewers in the coming weeks. The sports journalist Paloma del Rio, 63, will retire after narrating the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup to be held from August 23 to 27 in Valencia.
