Although there are drawings for the little ones that simply serve as entertainment and fun, there are others that try to leave a moral and message about the environment. There have always been and there always will be, but one of the most recent comes from the hand of the Meteoheroes, a group of children with superpowers with whom they try to do good for the world. After their successful time on television, the time has come to handle them in their interactive format with the video game that we present to you today. A good way to relive the adventures of this super team in an enjoyable and entertaining way as we will comment on in the next analysis.
All together, we save the Earth

As we have seen in the series, we will have to fight evil by embodying each of these children with special powers. Nix, Fulme, Thermo, Pluvia, Ventum and Nubes will return to the fray to disrupt the evil plans that Doctor Makina and his Maculans have in mind. To do this, they will not hesitate to travel throughout the Panera, going through the nine phases that make up this adventure. Are you willing to help them stop pollution?
Each of the nine phases focuses on a specific region. We will travel to Italy, the United States, Australia or even the Amazon fixing all the damage that the Maculans have caused. Each and every one of these levels will behave in a very similar way. Through horizontal phases we will have to jump and eradicate enemies while looking for specific objects. Once we have obtained the three objects that the level indicates, we can reach the end of the phase to visualize the good actions that we have carried out.
Skills cut from the same cloth
Although at the beginning of each phase we will control a specific Meteohero, about halfway through the level another of our friends will take over. It is true that in the series each of these heroes has a very particular power, and it is something that has not been exploited well enough in the video game. All selectable characters do the same: they jump the same and fight the same way. It only changes the skin we use and the color of our shot. It’s a shame, because it would have been an excellent opportunity to provide a very rich playable variety.
Fire, water or wind?
The Meteoheroes’ only glimmer of personality comes when they should. decide how to face a specific danger. There will be areas throughout each screen where we will have the option to solve a problem by choosing one of the three options. It’s not like we can do anything except choose the correct option, and even if you make a mistake, it doesn’t penalize you in the slightest and the adventure will happen in the same way.
The same repetition is found in the level design. It’s a shame we don’t encounter new dangers in each phase. Or at least, different ways of facing each situation. Except for the last level, and some particular ones like Antarctica, they all share the same mechanics and nature.
For all types of audiences
As I mentioned at the beginning of the analysis, it is clear that it is a game intended for the little ones in the house. But as was the case with other titles of the same cut, such as Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx, a little more emphasis could have been placed on variety to avoid repetition. However, the characters are charismatic, and the simple fact of controlling the Meteor Heroes is reason enough for children to enjoy each level.
Visually, the title wants to resemble the series as much as possible, and sometimes it succeeds. Their artistic style is very similar, full of color and characters taken directly from any television episode. Where it may clash a little is depending on the animations, but they don’t affect the actual gameplay of the title either. Besides, we will have dubbing in Spanish, very important point and one that I am glad they included in this adventure.

There are many series that make the leap to playable format, especially content designed for the little ones at home. One of these proposals is the one brought to us by Gammera Nest, Tap Tap Games and Meridiem Games. If you are a lover of Meteoheroes, you will surely enjoy this friendly platform controlling the iconic children of the series. We can embody any of them to fight against pollution on nine different levels. It’s a shame that the special powers of each character, the game mechanics themselves, and that the levels have a variety of challenges are not fully exploited. Despite this, it can be a very pleasant experience that is sure to bring a smile to the little heroes who live with us at home.
