The Funerarias Reunidas Trophy that opened yesterday was the first Asturian victory for this four-star that was held in Chas. The trophy, in which 124 pairs took part, was held under the “progressive difficulties” scale, which means that each obstacle awards a certain number of points up to a maximum of 65. The winner of the test is whoever scores the highest number of points in the shortest time.
Isabella prevailed with “Eberlin M”, which reached 65 points in a time of 45.69 seconds. Behind them, the Basque Daniela Cortázar with “Baila du Veillon”, who needed 29 hundredths more, and with the also Basque Maialen Ortiz, riding “Let’s Fly Carlotta” in 48.64. Isabella González also achieved fourth place with “Exiom Arloy de Beausejour” and sixth with “Garsina”. This test was the one in which the best Asturian performance of the contest was recorded, with five representatives of the region among the top 10.
The Astur Equestrian Club will once again host a contest next weekend with a five-star national team belonging to the National Gold Jumping League.
