According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vieira Lopes’ participation in the important event is the result of an invitation from the Brazilian presidency of the G20, as an observer country.
The meeting’s agenda includes providing delegates and participants with information on the G20’s administrative and logistical arrangements, a summary of working methods, social inclusion and the fight against hunger.
The meeting taking place at Itamaraty will also present the pillars of Brazilian management at the head of the G20, namely the fight against hunger and poverty, sustainable development (economic, social, environmental) and the reform of global governance.
The first meeting of Finance and Central Bank deputies, between the 14th and 15th, is another highlight.
