After a lull and the lifting of many blocking points this weekend, farmers are resuming their actions with a vengeance this Monday morning. Particularly in Île-de-France, where a “siege of the capital” was announced by the FNSEA and Young Farmers (JA) unions of the Paris Basin. In total, around forty roadblocks should be put in place during the day.

The blockade of Paris, planned from 2 p.m., should be organized around seven blockade points. And taxi drivers are not left out, since they have launched several “snail operations” towards the capital.

The traffic curve, region by region

Whether in Île-de-France or throughout the country, traffic was generally less dense than usual, according to information published by Bison futé this Monday morning. In the Paris region, the peak of traffic jams remained slightly below 260 km, compared to 320 expected on average.

As of this weekend, the main agricultural unions – FNSEA and the Young Farmers of the Greater Paris Basin in the lead – had communicated a map of the blockage points planned in the region.
