After yesterday’s attack near Ankara, Turkey confirmed that in the past few hours raids hit PKK-linked targets in northern Iraq and Syria. “32 targets belonging to terrorists were hit and destroyed”, announced the Ministry of Defense.
According to the Syrian Democratic Forces (FDS, Kurdish-led and supported by the US), at least 12 civilians were killed and 25 injured in “a new wave of attacks carried out in recent hours on the north and east of Syria”. Among the people killed, they report, there are two minors.
The raids come after yesterday’s attack near the capital which left at least five dead and 22 injured at the entrance to the Turkish Aerospace Industries headquarters. The attack has not yet been claimed but the government has attributed it to the Kurdish Workers’ Party.
