Food products have become cheaper compared to September, with the largest increase in prices for entertainment and culture
Through October 2023 the monthly inflation is 0.4%, and the annual inflation for October 2023 compared to October 2022 is 5.8%. (We remind you: In September of this year, the monthly inflation was 0.1%, and the annual 6.3%.) The inflation since the beginning of the year (October 2023 compared to December 2022) is 4.1%, and the average annual inflation for the period November 2022 – October 2023 compared to the period November 2021 – October 2022 is 11.4%.
Cabbage becomes cheaper the most in October
In October 2023, the prices for entertainment and culture increased the most – by 6.7% and clothing and shoes – by 5.7%.
Down, albeit slightly, are the prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels – a decrease of 0.4% and food products and soft drinks – a decrease of 0.4%.
The prices of goods and services of restaurants and hotels and communications remain unchanged.
In October, rice prices increased by 3.4%, potatoes by 3.2%, olives by 2.9% and others.
The prices of cabbage – by 16.8%, cucumbers – by 8.7%, ripe onions – by 5.8%, oil – by 4.1%, fresh and chilled fish – by 3.8%, apples – by 3.6%, root vegetables (carrots and red beets) – with 3.5% and others.
In the groups of non-food goods and services, package services for holidays and tourist trips in the country have increased in price the most significantly – by 16.1%, shoes – by 6.4%, clothing –
with 5.4%.
A decrease in prices was registered for international flights – by 19.7%, pellets – by 9.6%, short-term accommodation services – by 5.5%, heating appliances – by 2.9%, televisions – by 2.3%, central gas supply – by 1.4% and others.
