According to Clément Beaune, the new Minister of Transport still 20,000 pieces of luggage are still waiting to find their owners. He told BFM TV that he hoped this “problem” would be resolved within “five to seven days”.

For the record, passengers deprived of luggage on arrival and having incurred the costs of basic necessities (clothing, hygiene products) can request reimbursement from the company. If the baggage has not been found within 21 days, its owner may be compensated up to 1,607 euros, with supporting documents, under the terms of the Montreal Convention governing certain aspects of air travel.
