“Azerbaijan may invade Armenian territory in the coming days or weeks.”

It turns out that we, without knowing it, are going to invade Armenia, wage a war and, thus, naturally, how could we not, further oppress the long-suffering Armenian people, according to whose historians they were still oppressed by tyrannosaurs, archaeosaurs and other plateosaurs.

The Lemkin Institute, not satisfied with the usual, at first glance, chilling warning, raised a “Red Alarm Flag.”

What kind of flag is it, and why is it red?

And we decided to first understand both the flag and its color.

It turns out that the flags of the International Code of Signals were developed in 1857. They are used in the navy to transmit messages between ships. Until 1887, the code was called the “System of Code Signals for the Merchant Marine”. Initially the vault consisted of 18 flags. On January 1, 1901, all maritime states accepted this code. In 1931, an international commission from 8 countries modified the signal system.

This is briefly about flags, signals and colors.

According to the code we mentioned, if someone raises a red signal flag, this means “I am loading or unloading, or have dangerous cargo on board.”

So is the Lemkin Institute a ship that walks and hums in the waves, or is it still an institute that does not sail, does not float, and, it seems, does not fly?

And in general, why the “institute” and, in fact, what does Lemkin have to do with it?

It turns out that this “institute” is named after Raphael Lemkin (1900-1959), a Polish lawyer of Jewish-Ukrainian origin, the creator of the legal doctrine of genocide and the legal basis for punishment for this crime.

We, as cheerful paleontologists, continued the mini-research and found out that the “institute” was founded by two matrons in years – professor of Kean College and Stockton University Elisa von Joden-Forgie and Irene Victoria Massimino, professor of international law, a graduate of Indiana University.

That is, two professors in 2021 “suddenly” decided to found a non-governmental, public organization consisting of themselves, one rented university room, two laptops, a printer and an old router

In the information section about the Lemkin Institute, the first item among the organization’s goals is “preventing the threat of genocide of ethnic Armenians from Azerbaijan.” Just think about it – documenting “genocidal crimes during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine” is in fifth place, “preventing the threat of genocide of indigenous peoples around the world” is in sixth place, “documenting and countering racism around the world” is already in seventh place. priorities of the work of this sharashka office.

We won’t talk about the wretched website of the “institute”, most likely made by students of these ladies in a hurry, and for free – otherwise, how can we explain the inertia, primitiveness and design reminiscent of “imageboards” of the 90s. Because it’s sad and uninteresting.

Eliza Stockton and Victoria Irene on this site, describing the “mission,” immodestly stated: “The mission of the Institute is to form a global consensus on the need to prevent genocides.”

Please note: the words “mission” and “institute” are written with capital letters. For the sake of respectability, perhaps.

We decided not to dwell on the achievements in the field of studying the hobbies of two professors and tried to find out what this very institute, located in a small room in Philadelphia, does.

It turned out that the world behind the scenes, global neo-imperialism, as well as the hostile whirlwinds that tirelessly blow over the long-suffering Armenian people, about whom two professors so tenderly, vigilantly and constantly care, are not at all interested in the Armenian agenda.

Well, no way, maybe you’ll hit yourself against the wall of a university auditorium.

Azerbaijan remembers everything… – ANALYTICS from Elchin Alyoglu

Because apart from Armenian journalists, Telegram channels, bloggers and petty politicians, in the West, and even in the East, no one is interested in why Miss Stockton and Ma’am Irene often raise a red flag, scream about Azerbaijan’s aggressive plans and furiously, without fussing themselves, signal about danger.
With the help of red flags, probably.

Disillusioned with the inaction of major powers, international organizations and, most importantly, with the blatant indifference of the mass media to waving the flag and shouting about the existential threat from Baku, the ladies decided to scare the Armenians.

With the same flag, declaring a “red alert for the Armenian people.” So that they would be afraid, tremble and tremble – in the west of Armenia there is a danger that, except for the two ladies who formed an integral institution, no one sees, feels or understands.

Based on the logic of the priorities of this, as its name suggests, “international” organization, one can understand how biased it is towards Azerbaijan. And after all this, the reason for such a sensational statement about the supposedly “imminent attack of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on poor Armenia” becomes clear.

But the circus, where two clowns with red flags work tirelessly in the arena, is not a product of the activity or the author’s invention of these professors. Alas, no, everything is much worse.

At the beginning of 2021, the largest organization of the Armenian diaspora in the United States, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA), in one of its many statements lamented that, “in the United States, unfortunately, there are no organizations or groups functioning to develop methods for the early identification of organized violence against the Karabakh Armenians, when effective actions to prevent it are still possible.”

Next, ANCA involved the Aurora Foundation, created and financed by Ruben Vardanyan, who is now counting stars in a Baku detention center, in the case.

That is, there was a scenario of another fictitious “genocide”, there were financial and organizational resources for lobbying – but there was no “organization” for active media work.

ANCA initially sought to direct the activities of the future organization to Armenia, so that the internal agenda – both political and social-humanitarian – of the country would always include the issue of “the threat from Azerbaijan.”

Two cunning professors, Elisa von Joden-Forgie and Irene Victoria Massimino, decided to make money on the next Aurora project and announced the establishment of the “Lemkin Institute”, dealing with disinformation, delusional “warnings” and “research in the field of genocide prevention” – naturally, all the works of this reincarnation of the “Horns and Hooves” office do not go one iota beyond the scope of Armenian propaganda, which has already set the teeth on edge even for Americans.

… It’s not easy living in Philadelphia when you’re a professor and there’s no side income. But if you are a professor without conscience, moral principles, then you can get, albeit small, sums from the local Armenian diaspora.

In the form of an “institute”.
