Krishnagiri: In another crowning achievement for Tamil Nadu, Simple Energy has started a new electric scooter factory at Choolagiri in Krishnagiri district.
Started with an investment of Rs 100 crore, this factory of Simple Energy is set up in 2,00,000 square feet.
India’s first patented in-house electric motor manufacturing, battery manufacturing, cell storage etc. in this factory has various special features.
It is reported that women will be given priority to work here. It is reported that nearly 700 people will get direct employment opportunities here.
As electric vehicle companies like Aether and Ola have already set up their factories in Tamil Nadu on a very large scale, this factory of Simple Energy is also seen as an important one.
This factory is named version 1.0. 10 lakh electric scooters will be produced here every year.
